Bottom line – If I was pregnant with my first baby today, I would likely buy the Uppababy Vista 2017. I would absolutely purchase it from Nordstrom and I would buy this version (How awesome is this color combo for a boy or girl?)I own this version in indigo/Silver. I would purchase the Uppababy Vista again for the following reasons:
.) Ease of use and maneuverability. We went to multiple baby stores when I was pregnant and tested all types and price points of strollers. The Uppababy Vista has the best maneuverability. It turns like a dream. It folds up in a snap. I can pull it out of my trunk and set it up with one hand while holding Moochi.
.) The ability to convert into a double. This was a must have for me. We plan to expand our family while Moochi will still need a spot in a stroller.
.) Large under basket. Traveling with a baby requires a lot of stuff. The basket on this thing can hold a whole week of groceries, my mall hauls, my laptop briefcase and diaper bag while traveling.
.)The incredible return policy at Nordstrom. We originally had the Uppababy Vista 2015. Our handles cracked (possibly while offroading in Hawaii… oops). Our local Nordstrom took the stroller back, no questions asked. The sales associate didn’t even bat an eyelash. I’d had it for over a year and used it frequently. I didn’t feel judged for returning it. She simply said, I’m sorry that happened, let me make that return for you.
.) The extendable handle bar. If you or your husband are over 5’9″, you need a stroller with an extendable handle bar. Its SOOO uncomfortable to have to bend over while pushing your stroller. I cannot even imagine spending a whole day at the mall or a farmer’s market without this feature.
.) Smooth reclining seat. Its so nice be able to recline Moochi when he falls asleep. The recline is super smooth and doesn’t wake him. I can recline the seat with one hand.
