Confession: I didn’t love the kitchen when we bought our house. I love white cabinets, but ours have an antique finish. I also REALLY wanted marble look countertops. When we decided to buy the house, I knew I was “stuck” with the kitchen. There is no way we would spend money to renovate a perfectly good kitchen because I didn’t love the colors. I added my own lighting and some accent items and now I LOVE the space.
I am normally not a huge fan of things on my counter. I always keep my food scale on the counter because I use it so often. We use honest hand soap (soap is 1/2 the cost at Target) and this dish soap. I LOVE the scent of this Candle. Its a bit of a splurge, but it lasts forever and it just smells so FANTASTIC!
My husband loves hot sauce, we always keep a bottle on the table. This Tabasco Salt is a family favorite – its not TOO hot and spices up food with the perfect amount of salt + spice. How cute are these Lego salt & pepper shakers?
These cabinets and the wine fridge were not part of the kitchen when we bought the house. I am so glad I asked my builder where he got the cabinets and ordered these for this space. The extra fridge space has been a huge help. I also think the bar area completes the space.
I have these three prints on a wall near the bar area. They are favorites of mine – look how little Moochi was!
