This week has been crazy, I left for Dallas last Thursday night. I worked from Dallas all day Friday at a friend’s house and then celebrated her son’s first birthday on Saturday. I prepped for the trip by packing workout gear and checking with her about running routes before I left. I also purchased a bag of my favorite protein (in a new flavor – cookies and cream!) and shipped it to her house via Amazon ahead of time. I included some fun new running headbands in the box for just a little extra motivation for a workout when I got there. When I travel I typically look up the closest planet fitness ahead of time and plan to visit while I’m there, I didn’t do this because I knew I wouldn’t have a car and it’s a lot to ask of your friend who is planning a birthday to drive you to the gym (and watch your baby?) when you’re there to visit her. I borrowed her running stroller and took Moochi with my on my runs. The planning was mostly a success, I ran two of the three days I was there! Then went to Evansville early Monday morning for a few days in the office. Things were rough when I arrived home on Sunday and even rougher on Monday. I ended up skipping the gym on Monday (second day in a row) and going straight to bed. After sleeping 12 hours, I woke up Tuesday and still didn’t feel good. I get the sense that my body needs a break. I am going to the gym today after work and plan to be back on track.
Update: I decided to replace my flex charger. I was able to get this knock-off replacement charger for under $10 with same day delivery. I really wanted to have a tracker for my trip to Dallas and decided this was the quickest and most economical method. I am still considering replacement options.
I desperately want my 70 lb reward for myself (a mani/pedi). I am SO close.
Weight lost/gained this week: + 1.2 lbs Total lost since highest weight: 66.4 lbs Nonscale victories: Actually planned ahead for a trip and managed to exercise EVERY day despite my travel. Abstained from cake at a party Challenges: I was gone ALL week, I tried my best to plan ahead for my trip Goals for next Week: Get to 70lbs! I typically do not put a specific number as a weekly goal because while I can control what I eat and how much I exercise, I can’t necessarily control what actually happens each week. I typically choose goals that are controllable that will lead to weight loss. Since I am so close to 70 lbs, I chose a number goal this week. Get back on track with exercise. Cook at least 4 dinners at home.

Breakfast: Spark Drink Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte from Starbucks w/ one pump of pumpkin spice Lunch: Atkins Brand Chilli (wouldn’t buy again) Dinner: Protein shake (Costco Cytosport Protein, 1 scoop of this Protein, skim milk, spinach, flaxseed/chia packet)
Thursday 9/14 – Fitbit Steps: 10,195 Calories in: 1222 Workout: 30 minutes on stair climber, ab workout at Planet Fitness, thigh workout at Planet Fitness

Saturday 9/16 –Fitbit Steps: 7598, Calories in: ???? A LOT, see below Workout: 3.0 mile run
Breakfast: Spark Drink, Lunch: I ATE ALL OF THE CHIC-FILA- NUGGETS, (like my friend ordered 3 giant platters, and I most likely ate 1000 nuggets by myself MI dinner: vodka cranberries, half a cheese ball. NOT MY BEST DAY EVER
Sunday 9/10 –Fitbit Steps: 5925 Calories in: 1337? (hard to tell) , Workout: I didn’t feel good at all on Sunday (*see my previous day of eating, I wonder why?!) I could barely eat. I got Moochi some chinese at the airport and had a few small bites of his beef and broccoli Dinner: Greek Salad from Madd Greeks in Indianapolis (I added chicken)
Monday 9/11 –Fitbit Steps: ??? didn’t bring fitbit to Evansville Calories in: 1333? Workout: none
Breakfast: Spark Drink, Egg White Grill from Chic-Fil-A Lunch: Shrimp Spring Rolls (from fresh sushi section in Meijer Dinner: Fresh Sushi from Meijer, I avoid rolls with cream cheese, anything fried or mayonnaise. I had what looked like a rainbow roll paired with 3 pieces of Salmon Nigiri.
