I found my velvet blazer on nordstromrack.com. I’ve rocked it a few times already this fall! It instantly dresses up any work outfit without looking too serious. I paired it with my fun heart print blouse. I originally purchased my embellished mules in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and they are on Nordstrom.com at a better price now! I have gotten a lot of wear out of them and get compliments every time I wear them.
I am planning to wear this blazer through the Holiday season – I debated between a red velvet blazer and blue and ultimately chose the red color because I thought it would be fun during the holidays. I might also wear this exact outfit around Valentine’s Day.
My pants are a bit of an investment item – I love them and highly recommend them. They are the ulitmate work appropriate combination of yoga pants and leggings. I feel like I am wearing leggings or yoga pants, but they look tailored and neat for an office environment. If investment pants aren’t in your budget right now, try a velvet blazer with any fun blouse and your favorite black pants!
