We’ve been eating a lot of cauliflower recently. I decided to omit cauliflower from our dinner one night and have green beans as a side instead. This pork chop recipes is SUPER easy, but looks a little fancy because of the balsamic glaze. I served it on my Christmas dishes because the green beans look so pretty with the green rim on my plates.
Main Dish Ingredients
4 thin cut boneless pork chops
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
2 pears, peeled and sliced
1/2 Onion, sliced
2 TBS Blue Cheese
Balsamic Glaze (I used this kind – also available in Meijer for less money)
1 TBS Olive Oil
1.) Sprinkle porkchops with salt and pepper.
2) Heat a large cast iron skillet to medium and add olive oil. Add pork chops. Brown for 3-4 minutes on each size or until cooked through. Remove from pan.
3.) Add pear slices and onion. Turn down heat to medium low and cook until onions are translucent and pear slices are soft. Top each pork chop with onion/pear mixture.
4.) Garnish with blue cheese and balsamic glaze. Fancy!
