I had so much fun making this wreath. I saw a Tulip wreath in Meijer and loved the idea, but didn’t like that they one they had was small, flimsy and $50! I found a few on Etsy, but by the time I found the size and color I wanted, they were $150 shipped. I made this one for around $30.00 with supplies from our local Michel’s. It took me under 30 minutes to make the wreath.
1 grapevine wreath in the size of your choice. I used a 24″ version like this. I bought my wreath for $6 at Michael’s with a 40% off coupon.
12 bunches of faux tulips (I purchased mine at Michael’s for $2 a bunch)
Twine or fishing line for hanging
1.) Lay grapevine wreath flat on a table. Trim the faux tulips down to small bunches of 2-3 flours on a 5-6″ stem.
2.) Insert the trimmed bunches in the wreath. I worked around the wreath, spacing the bunches 3″ and then staggering as I went around the wreath. Placed all the light pink flowers first and then worked with the dark pink flowers. I did this to make sure the spacing and color mixing looked even when I was finished.
3.) Hang. That’s it. This has been on our door and has endured February in Indiana without losing a single flower!
